      Long Description: Barrage is a rather violent action game with the objective to kill and destroy as many targets as possible within 3 minutes. You control a gun that may either fire small or large grenades at soldiers, jeeps and tanks. Targets are fast paced and require careful aiming as it takes half a second to reload the gun. Additionally you have to keep an eye on your ammo and reload in time.

    If you haven't already installed Darwin Ports, you can find easy instructions for doing so at the main Darwin Ports page.

    Once Darwin Ports has been installed, in a terminal window and while online, type the following and hit return:


      %  cd /opt/local/bin/portslocation/dports/barrage
      % sudo port install barrage
      Password:
    You will then be prompted for your root password, which you should enter. You may have to wait for a few minutes while the software is retrieved from the network and installed for you. Y ou should see something that looks similar to:

      ---> Fetching barrage
      ---> Verifying checksum for barrage
      ---> Extracting barrage
      ---> Configuring barrage
      ---> Building barrage with target all
      ---> Staging barrage into destroot
      ---> Installing barrage
    - Make sure that you do not close the terminal window while Darwin Ports is working. Once the software has been installed, you can find further information about using barrage with these commands:
      %  man barrage
      % apropos barrage
      % which barrage
      % locate barrage
